Non-surgical nose reshaping, also known as “nose filler” or a “non-surgical nose job” is achieved using dermal filler.

This treatment is carried out by our experienced cosmetic doctor Dr Najia Shaikh. Treatment is quick and requires minimum recovery time.

HOW DOES THE TREATMENT WORK

Dermal filler is a gel-like substance that is injected beneath the skin at predetermined points in order to achieve the shape the client is after. In many cases, it is used to add volume around a “dorsal hump” at the bridge of the nose and create a straight profile in the nose.

Dermal filler nose is an advanced dermal filler treatment and is considered a higher-risk area than dermal filler elsewhere on the face, our doctor has experience in offering this treatment.

How is a Non-surgical Nose Job performed?

The procedure can be performed in office setting and will only require some mild numbing cream application prior to the treatment. You may feel a slight pin prick as the needle enters your skin. Multiple injections of a very small quantity of dermal filler are administered into specific areas along your nose to aesthetically enhance your nose while maintaining the natural look of your face. You can leave immediately after the procedure to continue with activities of daily living.

What are the complications or side effects of the procedure?

Although a non-surgical nose job is very safe, there is a minimal risk of bruising, tenderness, redness or swelling, which will usually resolve without any intervention. Sometimes, lumps may form under the skin due to accumulation of the filler in certain areas. This may be easily managed by light massaging or may eventually get reabsorbed into the skin.

How long do the results last?

The improvement in appearance of your nose will be immediately apparent and depending on the type of dermal filler used, the effect may last between 6 months to a year. Repeat treatments can be performed safely as needed.
